This weekend, Brussels is once again the destination for open-source lovers from around the world. FOSDEM 2026 (Free and Open Source Software Developers’ European Meeting) takes place on 31 January and 1 February 2026 at the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) Solbosch Campus in Belgium. It is widely recognised as Europe’s largest open-source conference, bringing together thousands of developers, contributors, and enthusiasts with hundreds of talks, workshops, stands, and community gatherings.

FOSDEM is free to attend and known for its rich programme of devrooms covering everything from Embedded & RISC-V, Open Hardware, Design, EU policy, to Browser & web platform sessions and beyond.
